Melungeon Information
The 2000 Census helped raise the level of interest in Melungeon origins and classification.
The Bureau of the Census has taken care of the problem quite neatly, under
"Other Race", ethnic category 662 is Melungeon. What doesn't fit or is difficult
to agree on is "Other".
